Little Believer’s uses a Reggio Emilia Inspired Preschool Curriculum. The Reggio Emilia Inspired Preschool Curriculum is an approach to teaching, learning, and advocacy for children. It is a way of observing what children know, are curious about, and what gives them a challenge. Our teachers record these observations to reflect on developmentally appropriate ways to help children grow in their cognitive and social potentials.
There are various principles of the Reggio Emilia Approach to Education. Some include:
-The image of the child as a capable and competent individual who is full of knowledge and potential.
-Collaboration and interaction are intentional in a Reggio Inspired working environment. Everything and everyone is designed to be connected and in relationship.
-The environment is a space within the school, both inside and outside.
-The 3 subjects of education include: children, families, and teachers. For children to learn, their well-being must be guaranteed. A child’s well-being is connected with the well-being of parents and teachers.
